With any thread requirements that have minimum post numbers, please keep in mind that you may have multiple threads with various post counts as long as the post counts add up to the minimum post numbers shown below. For example, if you have one hunting training thread with 2 posts and another with 3 posts, that would fulfill the requirement for a hunting training thread. We do, however, suggest that you go above and beyond these minimums for more fun, interaction, and writing improvement!
In order for a kitten to be eligible for their apprentice ceremony, their application must have been accepted (or, for the case of in-character born kittens, they need to have been born) for one real life week. The roleplayer must also complete two roleplay threads with at least five posts in each thread. It's preferred that litters age up together, but it is not necessary.
In order for an apprentice to be eligible for their warrior name, they must have been accepted/promoted for at least two weeks in real life and have completed the following tasks:
-One territory exploration/learning thread (at least five posts in the thread)
-One thread for hunting training (at least five posts in the thread)
-One thread for battle training (at least five posts in the thread)
-One trip to Mothermouth to meet their ancestors in StarClan (at least five posts in the thread)
-One assessment for hunting and fighting (this can be mixed in with the fighting assessment; at least five posts in the thread)
Deputies are chosen specially by the roleplayer of the Clan's leader and myself. Deputies are chosen mostly based on the roleplayer's activity, writing ability, and whether or not they already have a high position (members without a medicine cat/medicine cat apprentice character are given priority in being chosen for deputy).
In order to become an elder, a cat must either have an injury or defect that disables them from completing duties properly (blindness, deafness, missing a limb, etc.) or they must be a warrior for at least three real life months and have completed at least five threads as a warrior. These requirements are simply a minimum - if you would like to keep playing your character as a warrior after these requirements are met, please feel free to. You can keep your character a warrior for a year if you so choose. There is no time limit on how long a character can be a warrior.
In order for a kit to be a medicine cat apprentice, they must show interest in herbs (as marked in an application) and they must be chosen by myself and, the player of the current medicine cat, and the player of the current leader. There are no thread requirements for this as the character is specially chosen.
Medicine cat apprentices can be chosen as kittens or apprentices. They will be chosen based on the member's overall activity, how many characters they have and how easily they are able to manage their characters, and the member's writing abilities (we mostly care about basic grammar and spelling, though writing about a paragraph or more for most posts is definitely a good bonus)
In order for a medicine cat apprentice to receive their full medicine cat name, they must complete the following tasks:
-One territory exploration thread (at least five posts)
-Two herb-learning threads (at least five posts each)
-One basic battle and hunting thread (this only has to be one thread, but if you'd like to have separate threads for it, go ahead; at least five posts)
-One thread treating a patient (at least five posts)
-One thread traveling to Mothermouth to get to know their warrior ancestors (at least five posts)
